Surda Abu Qash Municipality, through its Services Department, continues to implement maintenance and rehabilitation works for street lighting units across the two towns as part of the municipality's ongoing plan to enhance public services and improve safety throughout the area.
The works have included the maintenance, repair, and installation of lighting units at several locations based on technical assessments, field requirements, and complaints and observations submitted by residents. The project aims to ensure the efficient distribution of lighting services and improve visibility and safety on streets and within residential neighborhoods.
Field visits were also conducted to supervise the progress of the works and assess additional needs at various locations. The inspections were led by Mr. Jad Mohareb Shallout, Mayor of Surda Abu Qash Municipality, and Mr. Nael Al-Shamali, Deputy Mayor, with the participation of Eng. Mohammad Jaafreh, Electrical Consultant, Mr. Sobhi Bayatneh, Head of the Services Department, along with municipal technical and field crews.
More than 75% of the planned works have been completed, with the remaining tasks scheduled to resume immediately following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
